Writing/
Copywriting Internship


The copywriting intern will work hands on with the BIAYA Consulting team to research, and draft various virtual assets including BIAYA brand Medium posts, the monthly newsletter, reports, promotional or marketing materials, and any other projects or products as assigned. The copywriting intern must be able to mimic and maintain the BIAYA voice in all written materials. Duration: At least 3 months, up to 1 year, Location: Remote

Key responsibilities will include:

Maintaining consistent BIAYA branded voice in all external communications, Aggregating industry knowledge, Drafting Medium articles, Drafting newsletters, Drafting reports, Check for spelling and grammar on all written material, Maintain high quality output, Manage deadlines for publication

Research Analyst Internship

The Research Analyst Intern will work hands on with the BIAYA Consulting team to aggregate industry data to deepen our understanding of Global creative industry trends. Research findings will fuel key business strategy decisions, help prioritize partnership development, and generate intel for thought leadership. Duration: At least 3 months, up to 1 year, Location: Remote

Key responsibilities will include:

Ecosystem stakeholder mapping (US, Africa, and Nigeria), Aggregating global industry knowledge, Aggregating intel on global tech and media industry initiatives, Reporting on key insights/ industry trends, Conducting market research, Aggregating key stakeholder information

Eligible candidates must:

Be able to demonstrate proof experience, Be able commit to 10-15 hrs of work a week, Be comfortable with remote teams, Have mastery over Excel/ Google Sheets, Love digging into rabbit holes to satisfy a curiosity/ hunch

Social Media InternshipS

UNICON - The Social Media Intern will work with the BIAYA Consulting team to develop and execute a strategy to grow UNICON’s social media following. You will be required to help create and execute on a variety of campaigns based on objectives identified by the UNICON planning team.

BIAYA - The Social Media Intern will work with the BIAYA Consulting team to develop and execute a strategy to grow BIAYA’s social media following.

Duration: At least 3 months, up to 1 year, Location: Remote

Key responsibilities will include:

Conducting R&D on key industry topics/trends, Working with the Research Analyst intern to incorporate marketable industry topics/trends, Supporting the design of a content strategy, Copywriting, Executing the content strategy, Providing weekly updates on analytics/content trends, and suggesting and implementing amendments to the social media strategy, Developing digital assets and collateral

Eligible candidates must:

Be able to demonstrate proof of experience (show successful platform/brand growth/management), Be able commit to 10-15 hrs of work a week, Be comfortable with remote teams, Have graphic design skills (at least 2 of the following: photoshop/canva/adobe illustrator)
